Through the National Center for State Courts, and in conjunction with USAID, Quest Consultants LLC was awarded a contract to analyze the existing Haitian national prisoner tracking system. This database system is used to store and track information on prisoners and their movements throughout the Haitian criminal justice system, and is a critical mechanism to ensure public safety and protect human rights. Quest's experts will travel to Haiti to conduct on-site user interviews and gather use case information on the existing system before formulating the requirements and recommendations for a new system based on modern technologies.
